Catagle,
Be careful. 20 years ago I came out to Long Beach on a business trip
in March
from Nebraska
. There were flowers blooming and warm sunshine
. I went home and we packed up the wagons.

Sounds like a great idea! Those of us that will be snow-bound by then would really like to see some pictures. Make sure you post some!

Hey, I'm game. But where the hull is MRD? And what might it stand for?

My crew and I would love to attend a MDR tailgate-type party!
While I like the idea of a three-day weekend for the out-of-towners, I don't think that the Thanksgiving Holiday is a good idea beause too many people (myself among them) will either be out of town or have long-arranged previous plans.

We're heading to Avalon for Thanksgiving, weather permitting. Did it last year, had such a blast it's our new tradition. More Macks the merrier.

Lets Get a Date planned...the sooner we pick a date the better? Are we looking at early/Mid November or after Thanksgiving?
We picked a date for last July's Channel Island Loop trip almost a year in advance, so people can plan.

How about we do a trial run very soon, while we still have the terrific weather, and then maybe we can decide when to have a big (Spring?)blow-out?
Since nobody has actually put forth a date, I vote for a Saturday, November 12; meet in the morning, fool around sailing, and dinner BBQ at the Marina Del Rey Ramp or at Inmon Yachts. Maybe there will be such a great response that we will need both locations!!!

I'll be bringing my little ones! Notice the Enterprise Sea over our shoulders. Ventura Harbor.

Looks good for us too. Fall back plan will be to drive down for the day if things get in the way. Rich, got room for a couple if that occurs?

Sure do Steve. If you can't get down there in your boat, you can surely go sailing with us.
Rich
So come on guys, who else is in? We need a good sized Flotilla.
