I really like B.C., especially the Island..........I spent a few beautiful summers there..... Permafrost tends to dampen building projects in the bush.......
I still like katsup better than vinegar on my "chips".
I like spanish on labels better than French-
I don't like paying more for Bud because it is imported-
A meter is still three feet to me!
I like bays called the "salt chuck"
eh?

DLT - I think Aweburm is favored by about 10 points, so I predict the Badgers will win by 2 touchdowns, 24 - 10 maybe. They probably could score more but don't want to rub it in. Maybe take a knee at the goal line to let the time run out instead of scoring another easy touchdown.
My Alma Mammy, UW Whitewater, is playing Saturday for the NCAA Division III national Championship. They're 14 - 0. In 1966, my second freshman year, they played in the championship game and lost.
When I started school there, it was Whitewater State College (when my oldest brother went there it was Whitewater State Teachers College), then it became Whitewater State University, then Wisconsin State University Whitewater, and when I graduated, a mere 9 years later (in the top 80% of my class), it was University Wisconsin Whitewater.
My grandparents actually spent more time on campus than I did. The cemetary they are buried in is now surrounded by the campus.
This past spring, they won the Div. III Baseball championship, and about a month ago they won the Volleyball championship (UW Whitewater, not my grandparents).

Cool Bill...
Yeah, I figured you were talking about UW's recent victories, rather than your grandparents'... But, it gave me one helluva visual...
Both my older brother and I got our undergrads from Auburn. Its really fun, since my younger brother and our dad are big Alabama fans... So, you can imagine all the smack talking that goes around the house...
I'm told that there will be a bunch of WI fans at the game, since its an escape from the cold. but, that's a long drive... I wouldn't be going, except I'm visiting Mom in Orlando over the break anyway...

Texas will defeat USC and watch them limp off the field. It will be a very close game. In the Sagarin ratings index (computer prediction), Texas will win.
They are both very good teams. The Big 12 rules though.
Super Bowl - no one can beat Payton Manning. Go Colts. My team (KC Chiefs) is struggling but they are not out of the hunt yet. Go Chiefs.

Yeah, you guys sure showed up to play... I just wish we did... My hat is off...
Yeah, nice editing of your prediction too...
Actually, when they took the knee with 8 or 9 seconds left I felt kinda cheated... But, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that it was the gracious thing to do... You guys already had us beat, and beat soundly... No need to run up the score...
