I like the idea of a fold down dodger. I always have been curious about a dodger and towing. Moondance, check out the Blue water site...The dodger doors are a neat item to get light into the cabina nd keep the weather out.

Just thought I wouold resurect this thread and see if bob is still on the board or if anyone has heard more about this

Yes I'm still here.

We have the prototype made. We still have a little fine tuning to go before we have it ready for production but it shouldn't be too long.

I have some photos of it but am not sure how to post them.

We plan to offer it at $295.

But if you look at some discount tops you will find it hard to compete with the china market

Yeah, my next canvas investment will almost certainly be a dodger... But, I just can't justify a Dowsar dodger...

I'll second that nomination, Kevin. It seems a simple enough courtesy, for everyone.

I pulled the link so it wont become an issue. The link wasnt important anyway it just showed where you can get a cheaper bimini.

Not sure what the big deal is I might be missing something I just thought if you click on a long address or a short word it works the same. Is it because its not pretty? I really dont know. But it sounds as if it offends some so we dont want to do that. So as not to offend (still dont know how)

I made my bimini adjustable, height wise, This is easy and it allows you to raise it up for head room when moored. you cant sail with it all the way up but you can with it down and open

I don't think it was offensive to anyone, but the long links sometimes expand the screen horizontally (depending on screen size and settings) forcing people to have to scroll sideways in addition to vertically for that entire page of posts. It is just annoying, but not offensive. I don't think anyone is upset, they are just trying to show you how to make your links shorter to make the pages easier to read. I did the same thing awhile back and was shown how to embed my links. You aren't the first that will be shown how to embed your links nor will you be the last. The good thing is that it only takes a few minutes to learn and keeps the pages easier to read for everyone. I don't remember who showed me where to learn how to do it, but I am glad they did.

Hi aya16 - How did you make your Bimini height adjustable?
I bought a Bimini frame kit, and a pair of aluminum crutches, at a second-hand store, that can be adjusted height-wise by pushing in the spring-loaded pins and moving them to another set of holes.
But that is as far as I've gotten.
