Chip, you're right, I remember seeing one offered for charter on Maui, out of Lahaina, I believe. Unfair criticism --- Just goes to show how urban legends get started.

I have always wondered how they manage to berth and tie up the 65s, practically speaking. - In most marinas in our area, there may be a few spaces at the ends of docks where you could tie up, but what would you do if you were cruising along the coast and your preferred stop either didn't have a space big enough, or that it was already taken? In other words, seems like it would be very expensive to rent that big a slip, and also expensive and difficult to find transient spaces. But maybe if I had the money for one I could also hire a capitan or mate who would take care of such things!
I do think it could be a nice live-aboard and a comfortable and exciting blue water boat, though for a fairly small group.
