On this Coleman, does anyone know how much higher the water temperature coming out is above the temperature of the water going in? I bought a cheap on demand heater at WalMart and on my lake the water can be cold and the water coming out was at best slightly hotter than room temperature.

Can't answer, but bet there's a Coleman glossy that says the temp ranges.

Meanwhile, there are a couple of discussions about recirculating your hot water for a long, hot (rinse only) shower, prior to using soap. Then the soap and final rinse cycle sends the water overboard.

Sorry, that's a cryptic description. But in simpler version, for washing dishes, you could bring a 2-gal bucket of lake water ab'd, recirculate that same 2 gallons thru the Wally heater for several minutes until it's warm enough for washing, then use it on dirty dishes ... and down the drain.
