Hopefully Bill is just hibernating a bit over the winter so he can rest up for the summer season. Get well soon Bill!

Hi Guys - I'm back. 1,882 posts and 155 matches ago.
I had a relapse of a medical condition I've had since '91. Usually controlled by meds. I'd see white lights, pass out, and wake up on the bathroom floor (most recently) or somewhere. Not since last Friday I think it was.
Spent most of the past 5 weeks in bed.
Today was the first day I didn't take one or more naps.
I'd get up, try to prioritize, do what I absolutely had to do, and then come here but was always too tired, no interest, no strength, no appetite, no endurance, and go back to bed instead.
Tonight was the first full meal I've eaten in quite a while.
One of the nice things about this business is the people I've met, and the friends I've made.
Thanks to those of you who sent PM's and emails. If I didn't get back to some of try me again. I know I accidentally deleted some emails.
My wish to all of you is a healthy happy New Year, and a great sailing season.
Life is good.
So, if I feel up to it, in the morning, I'll have a good healthy breakfast of Hostess Twinkies deep-fat fried in hog lard and go out and throw snowballs at cars.

Glad to hear you are feeling a wee bit better Bill.
throw snowballs at cars.
I doubt you have enough snow left for that. Last week at my house -33c, the last 3 days have been up to +16c, warmer temps then in SFO!!

Global warming or charming... 8)

I had snow piled on either side of the driveway up to 4 feet, now more like 1 foot. The kids snowman has gone on vacation to the north pole, at least that is the story I sold them when they woke in the AM and he was "gone".

They still believe in frosty.

Enjoy your low carb high fiber breakfast Bill :D

Some of my folks lived beyond 95 yrs., and were raised on 'hog-lard' :D
An elderly aunt enjoyed soppin' up heated bacon grease mixed with molasses, using homemade bread :| No indegestion either. She could argue the ears off a stubborn mule too.

Glad you doing so much better :!: Now, go sell some Macs and create happy sailors :)

I'm doing much better, thanks.
Things went black for a short time during dinner this evening so I asked my wife if the electricity had gone out.
She said that it hadn't.

As I am the one who started this thread I dont like hearing about you blacking out.Bill what do you think is making you black out, whats the DR say. First you say you are a a bit better then you blacked out. Have you seen any specialist?Still hoping you can visit us later this year. BTW I have to have rotator cuff operation 1/30/08 so will be out of action for 3-4 months.

I first came down with this in '92.
I had passed out in my doctors waiting room so they put me in their secretaries car and told her to drive me to the hospital. They said I was faking it to make them look bad, as their diagnosis was I had a cold.. I had been in the hospital for about a week, sleeping about 23 hours a day. I heard the nurse tell my doctor that I wasn't eating. His respnse was to not give me so much food.
Fortunately I heard a doctor in the hallway that I had gone to high school with. His older brother, also a doctor, had gone to H.S. with one of my older brothers. He called his brother and theyhad it diagnosed that day (ideopathic Hyper Eosinopholic Syndrome, but not a classic cas as I did not have asthma).
I've been to Mayo Clinic, University of Wisconsin Hospital, an allergist, the local VA hospital where I've seen their tropical medicine guys as I was in Africa for 1 1/2 years and Nam for a year.
It seems to flare up about every four years, or so.
So now I'm back on steroids. Good thing MacGregopr does not do random drug tests on their dealers.
I'll be OK.
