Probably not the best picture to illustrate stern rail seats w/ bimini but you can see the back support posts. This one is from BWY. The posts are actually mounted to the stern rail seats with stainles steel round fittings which tighten like a vice around the rails of the seats. The full enclosure wraps around the back of the seats. Perhaps your bimini could be modified so the posts are set up that way, or maybe even mounted to the outside rails of the seats.

Changing the subject slightly. How is your pole with the wind-o-meter attached. I am thinking of a similar type set-up for anchor light and VHF antenna.

I installed a flag-pole type fitting on the transom wall close to the fittings for the mast support arc. The stainless steel post pops into it. I drilled a couple of holes through the fitting and the post to put bolts, washers and nut through to secure the post and keep it from moving, rotating, etc. When my mast is up, I remove the mast support arc to make room for the wind transducer post. It's quick and looks better anyway. Too much metal back there with the bimini & wind-vane post.

Ok one think I think I should Have installed by the factory is the stern seats

We absolutely love the stern seats. It's a must have in my book. The grill also attaches and makes for a great BBQ cooking area. I wouldn't sit in them in all conditions, but they are nice.

shore power

It depends on how you plan on using your boat. Do you want to stay at the marina? If so, having proper power might be nice. We don't stay at the marina. If we are overnighting, we want to get away from people and other boats. I just run an extension cord to my permanent battery charger when I'm near power.

additional power panel

If you are planning on hooking up toys, then it's probably a good idea. I haven't found the need yet.

Genoa setup

We've got the standard jib. There are times when a genny might be preferred during light wind and I don't want to haul the mainsail up. But remember the sheets will come all the way back in the cockpit and are on the outside of everything.

Jury is still out on the porta potty.

What are your other options?
I've never had/used a porta potty before. To be honest, holding tanks aren't all that great either. The vent smells when you use it and you can't really totally clean the holding tank. Once you get over the initial part of the porta potty, it's not that bad. Just dump it quickly and it's over.

I knew eventually you would be back. I don't know what you said, but I knew you would be here Only about three more months to sailing season. This might be the year to have cushions made for the Stern Rail seats.
