Well after much more research I started a 40 hour job of using Poli Glow (purchased last year). It took at least 15 hours to Clorox, On Off, Poliprep, scrub, Magic Erase, wet sand and fix some pressure washer damage before starting the coating process.
The gel coat is in such bad shape that if you get any kind of dirt on the surface you start over again. It looks like a two bottle job so far (ordered two more for a total of three). The gel coat is so dry that the first two coats of Poli Glow disappear. I used a 4" paint brush on the non-skid then used their shammy to pop the bubbles and wipe off the excess. Worked great.
I did get a black footprint (oxidized black gel coat stripe) on the deck where some of gel coat was not coated and some was. The rain washed off the coated section. The uncoated section required severe scrubbing and rinsing, again. I’m really tired of cleaning the boat for 6 hours (and destroying the gel coat) just to use it for a day or weekend.
I still have 10 hours worth of coating to go, but the boat is starting to look like new.
Too many people seem to like the product and have NO problems year over year (with the annual maintenance coat) for me not to try it. Eric Hardtle did his boat I think three years previous and he does not have the stated problems.
Time will tell. For now it looks great.

Is Softscrub enough for the top deck or wax it too?

Re: Poli Glow
Victor, Were you the one who did the pressure washer damage or was it a PO. If you used the pressure washer on it how much PSI was your unitvkmaynard wrote:wet sand and fix some pressure washer damage before starting the coating process

Do not use a pressure washer ever. Use soap and water scrub followed by On Off if you have stains then a 30% Clorox solution. That will clean better than a pressure washer without damage.
