I can't see how an :macm: owner would be happy with a 10HP motor. Just my view, but there are "better" sailboats if you don't want to power. Nothing like the wind in your hair and the bugs in your teeth as you push the throttle forward on a "big" engine. And the ability to get home quick when the winds die or when the weather starts to take a turn for the worse is nice.

I would consider an older Mac 26D or 26S if I was happy with just a kicker motor.
