I'm not real sure what the floor is. There is the blue side with a dimpled non-skid surface and then the backside is brown and looks like masonite, but don't think it is. It is a very smooth, non-wood surface. The edge grain looks like a plywood. It is some kind of laminate of what looks like a couple different things. There has been water in the bottom of the dinghy under the floor boards for extended periods, with no apparent harm.Divecoz wrote:Thanks for the pics Sumner.. Your floor panels are Blue? The wood panels fit in there tight but aren't that hard to get in. You put the 2nd and 3rd from the stern in last. They are angled down and you put one into the channel of the other while they are still angled up and then press down and they pop down and push the other ones snug fore/aft.
The difficulty then is getting the channels down in on the sides even though the 3 panels have a relief where the channel goes,
