I think simple is better sometimes. Bucket, lid like a toilet, plastic bag with puppy pad inside the bag. Tie a knot in it, and start 100% fresh each time.

Almost the end of the sailing season for us Northerner's. Slips start emptying out Oct 15, with a few die hard's lasting a month or so more.
Going to miss days on the lake over the cold winter.
How have all you been?
Two X's for sale at the local Marina now. I believe one could go attractively priced. One belongs to a retired woman living out of state. She did not use it once all year that I noticed. She lived on it some last year. One belongs to the yacht club president. Let me know if anyone wants contact numbers.
The Clipper Marine 32 ketch has been a source of pure joy over the summer. Hate to pull her, but winter is on the way. It got down to 33 degrees overnight a week ago already.
Speed, she goes right by a newer Catalina 28 MKII that costs more than most houses, and a Hunter 33 with a 48' mast. My edge is the mizzen (47.5' of masts) and the narrow beam. Another ketch, a small daysailer goes past me like I am beached. lol Has an Asian look to it.
Hey, my cockpit has 4 hasps, and I have a tiny brass padlock swinging in every one of em. Ain't you proud of me? lol
Run into Sumner every once in a while, such a warm hearted family, always good to see them.
