Re: diesel air heater (100.--), who installed?

OK, first off let me say: yes I agree a Wallas or other diesel air heater is far superior to what I'm showing here, and I totally want one. For now though, this is the portable Mr Heater that I'm using. Had my first multi-day excursion with it and it worked pretty well for me.

It's secured to the companionway ladder with velcro straps (attaching the carry handle to the upper step) and it rests on the lower step. Quite secure. I slide the big sliding hatch open a bit for ventilation. I flip the heater around backwards to be out of the way when I'm not using it.
Note that I live/sail in a mostly desert climate, so humidity isn't much of a problem. In 2026 when I plan to go on a trip to Alaska, I will definitely be outfitting with a Wallas or something similar. For now though, this works for me. It is a bummer that it chugs the propane.
