I'll attempt doing a search for whatever coating it was. Whoever did it applied it only to the black as I remember.

I also thought that a pressure washer does a fast job of cleaning up the oxidation on the black but I could be wrong. And I do realise that the black is thin and you would not want too much pressure.

And in addition keep the pressure washer away from all stickers.

some one posted a pix awile ago, They painted the black white. I have to say it did look good and it would make the mac a little diff.
I just used a product from wm that went on like a rubbing compound
and it worked, I still have to put some more wax on it to even it out but it came out alright. But I can see that this would be on ongoing job. Not sure I like that part. a two part epoxy paint sprayed on might be the ticket. But painting is above my pay grade. Not good at it.....
