How do you add a second axle?

Moe, o yeah, the anchor and chain, and porta potty.... but not a lot of "load" there in the lower tank usually.... do batteries and cables really weigh that much, i guess so, i have about the equivalent of at least 5 lengths of gauge #4 about 15' each. so 4,000 lbs. sounds close. the new bathroom scales give readings at the tongue's ball cup of 270#, so that is in the range of the suggestion, but for a lighter loaded boat.

Imagine what the hitch weight is for someone that dosen't do the Macgregor bump and the boat is sitting back 4-5". Then factor in 24 gal gas in the lockers... can my 7 yr old lift the tongue yet?? Be sure the wheels are chocked before stepping on the ladder to board- you could be in for a Macgregor sleigh ride!! :)
