Just saw a decent shapeHarpoon 6.2 unload on ebay at 4300.

On east coast , they come up for sale about 3-4 times per year. The hulls are so strong, you can't do too much damage to them

Hey I just got beaten by a Ranger 23 Tall Mast with the same PHRF as my D! Don't think it was boat speed but captain know how. Just when you think you know how to sail there is still more to learn.

And remember PHRF everyone has a sweet spot. What was the wind? Your sweet spot is around 12kts.

Jee Catigale :!: :?:

I'm going to need to do a lot of catching up  All I have right now is the D and a broken down Lehman 12, sitting on my junk pile (pending potential projects pile). Oh.... and the baby grand piano, but it doesn't have a very good hull shape :D

Can't wait to get all the wall building and other property projects don't, so I can start some of the fun stuff.

There's an old day sailor a couple blocks from me that has been sitting for 15 years. I drive by it often on my way to town.
I've thought about stopping to ask about it a hundred times. Now it looks like things are being cleaned up on that property and I noticed the other day that the mast is no longer with the boat, so......... don't know.

Cool looking hull though........... somewhere between 14 and 18 feet, pretty wide beam, lead keel, long cockpit. I've seen these boats before, but can't remember the make. It has a fore deck and a little splash shield across the aft end of this deck.

Anyway, happy sailing

I wonder if there is a 12 step program for that.

According to my calculations, 12 steps of "boat for sale" sign making would eventually net one boat :D :D :D

Well of the 17 boats, exactly 5 dont have masts, so 12 steps are needed...

They crack me up. :)
Funny, my Pop worked for Aerospace, late in his career. He was always talking about the "educated idiots" that surrounded him there (meaning geniuses with retarded social skills, for the most part). Shelly is the perfect example.

Well I got beat again by the same guy, only this time it was even worse. 30 plus mile race, no real wind 16 hours to complete. I guess that's why it was called a Endurance race.
He flew a regular spin and I just winged it. They give you 16 seconds a mile for no spin but that didn't help. I think most of the race I was moving by current, since the sails were just hanging there.
