When sailing or motoring, I like to listen to the boat and the water, keeps me in touch with things so to speak. Sometimes I'll just drift along and listen to a ball game if the Mariners are on. But when the hook goes down and the rum comes up, then I'll get out my MP3 cd's of Hawaiian music or Jimmy Buffett and make Boat Drinks.

To bad Bob Dylan wasn't listed. He can take you anyplace. Sailing, flying, soaring anytime anyplace it's Dylan the master of them all. He can't carry a tune unless you put it in a box but he sure can write them. He has to be the best writter/composer of our time.
Ah to be in the garden right now. I guess I'm showing my age now!

A little Canadian content that should be considered:
Stan Rogers - Barretts Privateers, The Mary Ellen Carter, Sailors Rest, Bluenose, Make & Break Harbour... hull anything by the late great Stan especially his live recording "Home In Halifax"!
The Barra MacNeils
The Rankins
Gordon Lightfoot - The Wreck of Edmund Fitzgerald
For you crooners Michael Buble
For the Jazz crowd - Diana Krall
Country - Shaina Twain " party for two"
