Good question bubba.

I was wondering if Roger patches that hole and gives the boat away to the employee of the year . . . .???

The more gas on board, the more buoyancy. Gasoline has a specific gravity of 0.739, while sea water is 1.025.

Don't be fooled by the weight of your supplies as you load them, many are buoyant.
