Yep its called scoop & Flush ! :D :D making my own water fall so to speak ,
Word of caution though my boat is heavily laiden up front Bow sprit with double anchor roller two big SS Anchors & about at least 1000# of gear down below as I live on the boat 3-4 days a wk in the summer most likely why I am able to fly two full head & main sail in heavy weather & point higher & have no problem punching through big waves or swells
R/S say's he can sail faster with smaller head sails but is unable to sail in the heavy weather that said , I like my set up better , I have the ability to attach up to 5 different forestays at the same time, my standing rigging includes dual spreaders a third set of masthead shrouds and an adjustable backstay mounted on a traveler , rigid vang , #7 lewmar winches mounted aft , Harken Ratchet blocks mounted further aft , 7ft genny tracks mounted on cabin roof deck , Allows me to fly more sail configurations then anybody on this site , as I sail mostly in heavy weather though that might be a changing !! :( old age & an admiral in the making " :o :? my boat is rigged to with stand strictly heavy weather sailing .
So bottom line is as Magnetic said , you maybe think your faster , but when the crap hits the ceiling & you gotta head back home under the iron genny , while I just keep pushing along also notice in some of these vid's I am not tied to the running rigging I am able to stand their drinking a pop & wave to all conserned !! :) :P

Why do I feel like I am reliving my Highschool detention days? :? Ah memory lane. :) Well is back out onto the water tomorrow and this time I know how to operate my video resolution on my cell phone video. :) If I reach the 7MPH mark on a beat again you all be looking for a whole new topic were I will post it. I could say more about who should and should not post replies there but I am on probation. The man got me down, or is that temporally amused? Now sence I am traveling down memory lane I can remember say this before every day before class.

Hey
Everybody is entittled to their opinion whether right or wrong ! :D , trying to enforce it apon other's :? Why ! :o
Anyway that said & done with I did try to drop the hint but nobody was listening !! :P on either side !

But I always have posted vid's to prove to the non beleiver's, Talk & theory is one thing ! the proof is in the pudding "video" as they say !

I like yourself & others push my boat to its limit & more , but we have to be careful & explain that our boats are not standard rigged as some are more concerned that some people see these vid's & think they can just go out & buy a Mac and away we go !! ? :o and as alot of these people are non 0r beginner sailors I strongly do not recomend doing or trying to perform any of these stunts untill your capable & your boat is such rerigged , these boats can and do more than some would recommend , but it takes alot of work & effort and more attention than a keeled weighted boat & endurance I might add !

So buddy " maybe not after that last pic I posted " :D :D :D
I am definately looking forward to some more of your vids , winter is coming I need some good entertainment " sailing Vids " please , But I am open to some good constructive critisism ! See I do'nt get mad just even !! 8)

Conditions late in the season proved to be non adventitious to hitting that speed again. Now my boat is out of the Water for an unknown amount of time (due to changing careers) by all means motivate me to feed you very lean bacon because fat pigs don't fly. :D

listen, guys, I live in China, and in China the military know a thing or two about giving a bad performance when "beating" with wind instruments - http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/4CSubBDkDYw/

(make sure the sound is on)

Now after I do show you mods that make a Mac go 7MPH on a beat you and a billion of your uniformed friends can copy that one too. :P

I came across some cruising on the cheap posts of folks going down to Mexico and they said that the bacon down there was extremely good compared to the bacon in the US. I suspect it's much like free-range chicken eggs (yummy!!!) where they eat what they are supposed eat and run around like they are supposed to.
