New 26M Video

Speaking of the M Video, The Racing spinnaker shown on the M with the removable bow sprit- does anyone know if that will become available for the X?

The J-dim is definitely longer on the M (as reported by TampaMac) but unsure by how much. Also, the 26M mast is 2 feet longer than the X.

• 1. "I" is measured from the foredeck horizontal, so it must be ~ 2+ feet longer than an X.
  2. The M's mast is 2 feet taller, yet the Main luff is 3'5" longer. I'm puzzled at how the M-boom could possibly be 18 inches lower than my 26X ???
  3. With mast 2' longer, the forestay must be ~3 feet longer to maintain the same rig fraction ... not impossible, but how very strange to use identical foresails on a 3-foot longer forestay?

If the X rig fraction was 7/8 ths, the M is likely only 3/4 ths, or so it would seem, right?

Alternatively, if the Genoa IS riding a forestay that's an extra 3' longer, good news for M sailors. Hike up that Genoa and have a terrific, clear view across the bow beneath it.
