Re: A liitle Feedback with respect to the MAC Bump
I think problem some folks have with the "Bump" is that they wait too long after they pull out and the bunks dry out. Bump as soon as you get level. 5 mph should be more that enough. Also I have bunks covered with long shag carpet which stay wet longer. Bump along ya'll... Fair Winds and Full Sails...Old Salt

Re: A liitle Feedback with respect to the MAC Bump
My experience is that 10 mph works better than 5 mph. I have some "texture" with my barrier coat paint and no sort of lubrication other than the water the trailer was dunked in when loading the boat. A smooth bottom may make the bump work better at slower speed...(come on Stephen...I am setting you up with this one... )
YMMV.

As my wise engineer father told me so many times, and as I've oft repeated here.... the cure nearly everything in life is proper lubrication.

Thats correct drink contents first then wait for the precise time then wet required surfaces avoid splashing your shoe laces !!!bartmac wrote:I'm not sure whether it's northern hemisphere thing but down under we drink our beer!!!!

Re: A liitle Feedback with respect to the MAC Bump
I did a Google on "Proper Lubrication" and came up with Lifestyle Condoms as the second entry .......
