GPS 320

I was trying to obtains some Nav software for my GPS 320 so I went to the web site and found that they didn't have much in the way of US Nav Info. I wrote them and this was the reply:

DataSend for the US has been discontiued. You may be able to find it online from some of our dealers. Try Wynit, Harmony Computers, or The GPS Store. Also, I wanted to let you know that the MapSend Software is not compatible with the 300 series GPS. We do however have a trade in program. You can trade in your unit for a newer refurbished unit at about a 40% discount. I have attached some information for you to review. I hope this information has been helpful.

Hey Don, thanks very much for posting that. I have an elderly 300 that is becoming blind and was curious if a program like this existed. Now I know..

I have to find out if there is a difference on trade in based on how expensive your trade in equipment is. You would think that a used fixed mount chart plotter would be worth more than my GPS 320.

That said I see Garmin has a nice large color screen fixed mount looking GPS Chart plotter that also has batteries built in. The Magellan equivalent does not have a built in battery pack.
