Have yourself a safe journey. Don't be surprised to find the weather some what un-accommodating on your trip to Florida. As I type this it is snowing in North Atlanta. But then, that should make you feel right at home.
Be safe.

Looks like you may have a good window Sun. for the Bahamas.
Have a safe trip and don't chance a crossing if the Window isn't clear for 3 days.
Temps hit 70 degrees here in Cape Coral FL. today with a very fast front going over us 7am with winds 20 knots gusting to 35 knots.
By noon it was sunny and now overcast .
Very unpredictable winds this winter for SW Florida and 21 years here been the coldest and highest winds.
Biscane Bay is a wonderful place to Cruise if you don't want to chance the Gulfstream, Clear water and snorkling in outer reefs.
Pennikamp is Highly recomended, Marina has ac hookup and last time I was their was $30 for a slip. (think they went to $35).
If you get to Alabama Jack's Restaurant and dock..tell um I'll be back!

I'll chime in with my 'have a safe trip' too... and I hope you do.
Where will you be staying in Philadelphia?

Having lunch in Albany. Slept on the boat in a rest area at Lake Placid and New York City is next. No problems with the Buick or the trailer except that people slow down when passing ..look at my rigging and nod their heads. The lady at the Gas station in Elizabeth Town in Aidrondacs could not believe the Buick was pulling that heavy looking boat. The only thing that is interesting par rapport to the trailering is that the bow which I keep 10 inches from the v on the trailer keeps slipping up and putting more weight on my towing ball.
I fill up with super gas every second filling and drive in 3rd gear all the time. I usually fill up at half tank. I seem to be able to make 400 kilometers per tank of gas which is really good.

Matt,
I said "toot"...not "kook"...but yes the "kook" is still in London. Bertrand is going to give a toot on his horn to say hello to König as he drives through Jacksonville on his way to South Florida.

Jim,
Dropped by NASJAX marina today. Didn't see your Mac in the storage lot. Beautiful day on the St Johns for sailing.
