Steering link for Honda BF50

My :macx: steering connects to my Honda BF50 using 2 cables; one from each connection point on the rudder. This is a hassle as when you are boarding using the swim ladder it doesn't leave much room for a step without stepping on the cable. On pictures in other posts I've seen a bar that just connects on the starboard side. Doe anyone know where I can get this bar?

I've seen the numerous posts about a raised platform to protect the steering assembly, but I wanted to look into this; it seems like it would be easier.

Thanks,
Alan

I have found it a lot easier to call BWY rather than mess with their on line part search :) Their way of listing some/several/many articles is well...a mess. so I just call them :D Very helpful :!:

Once I figured out how to navigate the parts section, it's not that bad.

However, since you must call them anyway to place the order, why not start there and find out if they even have it in stock. They may even have another solution not on the web site.
I just ordered a new spreader and bearing for the "rotating" mast. Gail was very helpful and I got them in a couple of days.
