We're now living in Gainesville, FL and will be trailering :macm: Bellaroo some distance to the east coat sail - need to upgrade the original steel, painted trailer with a solid AL tandem trailer. Has anyone had good fortune and received a great trailer from any of the surrounding metros, JAX, Tampa, Orlando, etc?

Thanks for the continuing support!

To start with, I think I'd take a look into searching Craigslist for deals in your area.

Then, secondly I'd hop into my car/truck and dash on down to this place ....

and have a looksee at what they got firsthand. I have visited the one in Saint Cloud because it is only a mile or two from my farm and I know for a fact that they have custom built an aluminum trailer for a fellow member of the City Marina who also has a :macm: , except it's a white(gofast) :macm: . Ameratrail also has hard to find stuff for your trailer, like hubs, races, brake parts, seals, bearing buddies et cetra.

It looks to be a very nice trailer and I think he has been happy with it. We considered buying one from them ourselves. We thought we could tow down there with our single axle and buy from them and then dump the single axle someplace. When I called last year a trailer similar to Bill's was around $3000.00 if I remember right. I couldn't build one for that.

I finally decided to upgrade ours with a second axle as I'd already put so much time into .....

...the side bunks that make it so easy to load and unload the boat in about any conditions and some other mods.

If I lived down there I would take a hard look at their trailers though. If you are interested PM me and I'll see if I can get Bill to contact you. I think he still has problems trying to log-on here,
