Has anyone gone to the Cleveland boat show this past weekend. There are a few more days.
I went to the boat show last year. No Macgregors or comparable boats. there were a few small day sailors, Hobie cats and only 3 big Sailboats. The 29` was only $95,000.

Yeah - - - but Jillian is more than just a weathergirl - - - she's been on the National Network scene. I'll stick with Jackie.

Rick

There's a celebrity gossip TV girl here in Las Vegas, I forget her name but her boyfriend is the frontman for Motely Crue, she is pretty hot too. I'll stick with Jackie.

John, I will probably be at the show on Wednesday or Thursday.I went and paid my docking fee for the year today.COPPER KETTLE MARINA in Loraine Oh.$715 per season.I was paying $1300 at the Catawba marina.I will put the new TROPHY in there in April.Still miss the room in the Mac though. All the best and happy new year to you.BTW I got $500 more for the Mac than I paid for the new Trophy when I sold it.

Oh yeah, Albion, she's a real tanker !? : :? Image
She was Miss Missouri 2005. :P

Now getting back to the original thread: Sorry, John, I didn't go to the Boat Show. Hopefully someday we can get together, have a few brews, and talk about your sailing ventures to Lake Erie. 8)

Great. Let me know if its worth the trip. Last year was disapointing, very few sails.

We were disappointed in the show yesterday. Really not much to see.

Don't know if I'd drive in from Pittsburgh for it.

Worst boat show I've ever attended. I wouldn't drive any great distances as they had a lot of nothing. I walked a bit of the show with a couple who simply wanted to buy a couple of floats to pull behind their boat. Believe it or not, not a single seller in the show! As for sail, only 3 cruising mono-hulls and one cat. (Harbor North only brought 2 boats). John, wouldn't recommend the drive.

They don't call it the Great Mistake by the Lake for nothing. Lived there for two miserable years, it was a great mistake! :)
