Mac25 Water Ballast

Really new newbie here. Just purchased a Mac 25.(will be in yard on FRIDAY. YEA!!) So im sure i will wear out this forum. Thanks in advance to all moderaters and peeps that will be helping. Ok my question in this, the Mac 25 has a water ballast, soooooo how does the water enter and leave my boat? Do i need to plug something before sailing? and do i drain b4 putting on trailer? Thanks again.

I think you are mistaken. The Mac 25 does not have water ballast. It has a heavy swing keel. If the boat you bought does have water ballast, it is one of the 26' models: 26d, 26s, 26X, 26M. Either way there are plenty of people here willing to help you figure it all out. Welcome to the forum.
