Re: The Appeal of Trailer Sailing
Nice Article Paul!
For the rest of you, the positive benefits of the NE-TS club also applies to other clubs. Up here in the Pacific Northwest we have MYCBC.CA (the website) and we currently have about 50 paid members. We also have Rendezvous, regattas and club cruises as well as learning opportunities and we are open to all owners of Macgregors new or old. Have a look at our website to see all the fun we have and if you live up this way consider joining us. This year 2012 is our 20th year of operation and we are planning some 20th celebrations for all to attend. Those from Puget Sound may wish to join us at our Can-Am event on Sucia Island (Fossil Bay) in the San Juans for the September long weekend, it should be a real hoot.
Looking forward to meeting new members!

Re: The Appeal of Trailer Sailing
yup, the article was about the appeal of TS and club sailing. I hope I didn't give the impression that the benefits of club sailing was an NE-TS exclusive

Re: The Appeal of Trailer Sailing
Paul, thanks for the great article. We remember those trips that the photos are from.
We do miss the sailing in New England, but our plan is for a Georgian Bay trip this season, and a few weeks in Maine next year.
Still on target to head for Exuma at the end of the year, hopefully with some NETS friends!

Re: The Appeal of Trailer Sailing
Nice article Paul! Are there any 26C owners in the NE-TE? Would someone sailing a 26C be able to keep up with the rest of the club?
What is your favorite sailing destination in New England? I'm also from the NE area.
