26X in sales ad

Post by Uncle Jim »

Just found this product using a 26X. Don't know that you'd need one for the Mac but check out the video at the bottom.

No connection or financial interest with product

It seemed fairly serious until you watch the video. I am glad that the shark did not destroy the 26X in the kiddy pool, or even worse that Ken and Barbie did not go to the cabin after the dance.

I did not get past ken and Barbie.
I think that float thing would not work on the M model. If you are aground there is no room under the hull for the floaty thing.

Talk about Bait and Switch!

Unclear to me why you'd need this with a Mac though. 12v inflator pump on the ballast vent to blow out the ballast, drop the ballast gate when it's out, and suddenly you've got 1300 lbs. of lift. For free, and without packing anything extra.

yea, I don't think you''d need this with a Mac but might be useful on a keel boat but it doesn't look big enough to lift 5 to 7 thousand lbs of keel. Good to see the guys got a sense of humor though

If I ran aground in a 26X (or my M), I'd just lift up the board, go over the side, and push it off the rock. :D
The directions are complete up to the step where you are supposed to REMOVE THE BOAT FROM THE ROCK!
Overall, I think this could have some good emergency. I wonder if it'll float a sunken boat enough to pump the water
out of it.

I think the operating instructions would also be useful for keel hauling someone.

It was a Macgregor, but he came close to showing us his JUNK.
