Any idea on how many 26X hulls were built and what its production run was? Also, anyone purchase a new M in the past couple of months? What was your hull #? Thanks, Rob

Here are a couple of threads where this was discussed previously.
26X versus 26M Production
Finally took delivery last night of our 04 M (very long)
From the former, I believe hull #5157 is the last X we know of. Bill@Boats4Sail would be a good authority on the latest M hull numbers being shipped now, almost two years since it was introduced.

Ordered my M in December 2003 and received it in April 2004 with hull number 465.

Can't remember the source, but IIRC there were 5300 + X boats built.

Our boat is hull 5157! We took delivery in August of 2002. I know many others were produced after ours. Not sure just how many, though.

Bill, when did you first get Ms for sale in 2003? I'm curious if the January '04 hull number you cited represents a full year of production.

# 103 was shipped May 16, '03
# 483 was shipped May 19, '04
When a new boat comes out, it takes awhile to get up to speed.
