Hey all!

So our sails came in....I still haven't retrieved my jaw upon seeing them! They turned out so insanely awesome!
Thanks to Judy for all her help, advice....just everything. We are pleased as punch and love how much attention these babies get!
In addition to looks, we've noticed a big difference with the way the Mac handles. Our friend, who is a sailing instructor has sailed our boat before and after, and also agrees....!

Looks fantastic! Did they put the logo on also? Was the logo screen printed or sewn on? If I may ask, how much did they set you back, as I will need sails in the next year or so.

They do look awesome! I would love to get a logo on mine when I need new ones.

Ooooh, so that's what the main sail on an looks like when it's not all blown out.

A new main is in the cards for me one of these years. I just have to sell off a bunch of boat stuff I don't need.

Our wonderful graphics team hand painted the logos onto both sides of the sails using special "paint" . Cat deserves most of the credit for how awesome they look. She supplied the graphic arts and artistry; we just supplied craftsman and artisanship.

I am personally gratified to see how nicely the mainsail is shaped and trimmed.... Look at the beautiful draft shape and flat leech! Look at the telltales at the battens - all streaming so nicely! Look at the lovely foil shape! That is one lovely sail, beautifully trimmed and photgraphed!

(Can you tell I LOVE seeing pictures of my sails? It makes me feel like a proud Mama seeing my babies flying so nicely!! I feel like a mother pushing a newborn baby in the carriage through the neighborhood! )

I ran one of the the pics through an analysis of draft depth, draft position, and twist.... and they're darned near perfect! This is what a 11-12% depth draft located at 45% looks like.

For somebody who just started sailing, Cat, you're looking insanely good on the water!

Very very cool!! They look great!! I'll be contacting Judy B soon after seeing these as I'll need a new main to match my new Genoa. Thanks for sharing.

Those sails look awsome. Thats just one more thing I have to add to the wish list now.
If only I could convince the admiral that the like new sails we have are "NO GOOD"
