Quick peek at my 2005 M

Hi all.

I don't think I've posted since last year. And I'm not sure if I'm in the right section.

We are getting ready to trade over to a larger keelboat sail boat. So I took a few pics of some of my basic mods. The Mods section is for detailed focus on individual mods. I just wanted to show off mine at a glance, to give new Mac owners ideas.
So here's a link to a 22 pic slideshow https://picasaweb.google.com/aplebel/20 ... directlinkfor those interested. I know I always like to see what others have done.

Also, I'm kind of curious if anyone has an opinion on it's value. I've initially set it at $25K. Too much?

Finally, what's up with the classified section here? All the adds I looked at are just long text/technical descriptions, no photos or even links to web albums :? $34 seems a good price for a 3 month, renewable for free listing, but with no pics (worth 1000 words) or links to click on?

Good luck with the sale, and let us know what you decided on as a replacement.

Beautiful boat. Some great mods. I like the access panels under the seating.
The enclosed cockpit is a big plus.

I would think you have her priced about right. Good luck with the new boat and tell us what you move to.

When you post an ad in the classifieds, there are fields that allow you to post links to more info on another website. You can also type links into the body of the ad. A picture can be uploaded on the page following, AFTER you submit your ad. Ads that are not using these features are at the poster's choice.

Greetings from another Camano Island Paul. Nice boat and great pictures.
We just bought another boat during the spring, a Baba 35.
We listed our 26X online, quite a few Macs for sale in the Puget Sound region currently, I haven't had any luck selling yet.
Not sure I want to, I love my :macx: and would like to keep it, if Admiral agreed, and tow around the country in the near future. Lots of great waterways out there that our keel boat can't get to.
Good luck on your sale.

Russ, You prob. recognize the storage doors under the seats. They, along with the galley shelf are made from the head door which we never used (we have a simple curtain for the whole forward area now, for changing etc)

Hey metronome, I think we've talked here before. Funny we haven't run into each other locally yet. We keep our :macm: at Shelter Bay (La Conner) in summer. Where are you mooring your new Baba 35?

Yes there do seem to be lots of Macs for sale in greater Seattle area. I will try to remain serene, and "accept the things I cannot change" :)

Hey Paul L.
We keep our Baba moored in Oak harbor, its a long drive for being close by. Great marina, nice facilities and down to earth staff. Too bad Camano doesn't have a marina on Utsalady Bay, we would be at the boat daily.
We finally had someone look at our 26X last night, it was nice to have a showing after 4 months of listing.
What make of boat are you looking into for your next chapter?
