1984 Mac 25 Trailer Qs
I just sealed the deal on my first Mac 25. I pick it up next week. The tires currently on it are P 195 70R14. This can't be the correct tire, am I right? What Im hoping to do is remove the old tires and take them up to a shop and have them install something like 205 14's, will this work? I have about an hours drive on the freeways here in Michigan. What tires should I buy?

Hey - welcome to the club. I just bought a M25 a few weeks ago.
You should make a new topic and post your question there instead of trying to revive a 3 year old thread.
cheers!

Those sound like passenger car tires. You want trailer tires. www.etrailer.com is where I get mine, already mounted on wheels and aired-up. But you can also go there and sniff around for 205-14's. Radial or bias-ply. Notice the capacity with a load rating of "C" - a lot more than what's on there now. Sidewalls are supposedly much stiffer, too, which is definitely what you want on a trailer.
