Lifts Florida Keys

Post by Dguy »

Are there any marinas in the keys which have reasonably priced lifts to put the boat from the trailer into the water and reverse. I thought it might be better to haul the boat in and out of the water by lift in order to save the trailer from being exposed to salt water.

The trailers are designed to launch the Macs in the water. Were you to find a marina with a boatyard and a sling, the cost would be prohibitive. Meaning you'd be more likely paying anywhere between $500 to $1000 to launch and recover your boat. The few minutes the trailer is actually in the water is not going to hurt it. Spray it down with fresh water once you pull it out and you're good to go.

Good Luck,
