Hey there. Does anyone know anyone near the Central Coast of CA that can fiberglass a retractable keels? I have a 78 V222 and the keel is just a hunk of iron right now and I realize I can probably do this myself but my shop space is limited right now and if it isn't insane price wise I wouldn't mind outsourcing the job.

I'm up in San Francisco and bit and Los Angeles so those locations are both ok if nothing closer to San Luis Obispo exists but ideally somewhere like Ventura/Oxnard/SB would be great.

I know it's late, but better than never.

Consider yourself lucky, If you have a '78 you have a later model 22 that just has an iron keel, earlier models had a fiberglass encapsulated iron keel that would delaminate and cause problems.

You just need to give it a good cleaning and apply a proper paint and antifouling.
