Currently my main halyard goes to a cheek block at the top of the mast which twists the headboard slightly. I think I want to drill the chicken head to put in a block or a sheave. What would you suggest?

That is what I did. Different boat but same setup. It was simple I just disassembled the block and used a bolt.
