I can feel the force on the rudders in a rough following sea. anyone tried just using the outboard leg sailing ? enough bite/control? I was Too busy to try it at the time.

No but I'll drag the OB and have a drogue onboard but haven't had the chance to use it yet

Haven't done it before as the outboard gives virtually no steering control at all. Will certainly try again this season now that I have installed a Ruddersafe steering aid.
