Should I post this in the mod's section?

(I know this has been done before... how I got the idea Just sharing from the sail today....

We also did this...



And here is my sailwarehouse with 3 reefs, metallic head/tack, great dacron and good stitching that everyone is paying too much for (Only thing I would like is a downhaul....)

Three reefs - new sail - looks really good - what weight is the material? Some are using heavier weight cloth - what say you?

(P.S. according to those green yarns your hauled in just a bit too much)

Pardon my ignorance but I only count 2 reefs. What am I missing?

Tasker is the manufacturer from the black insignia.

Oh man, I would like to know the cloth weight on that sail, I think Judy is using a 6.03 Dacron on her stuff, that seems really heavy to me - I want to know what the weight is of that sail he has - it looks good but does not look heavy.

Maybe it's a heavy sail - the shape looks pretty good for a sail that is obviously getting blasted broadside (look at the kite in front of it - he has the main near flat against the wind yet it's shape looks pretty good) - if it's a heavy weight 6 cloth that would explain things - I think most of us are using lighter cloth than that.

I really would like some feedback from people using heavy cloth. I'm curious about it.

Yes, only 2... I guess I was counting the Clew as #1.... too many coors lights

I honestly can't remember which one I bought its the 5 oz or the 6 oz... But the kite was sheeted as tight as we could sail her as we were trying to sail to weather a bit... it was a challenge to say the least.

Hey, sailing broadside to the wind with a kite is no easy feat - your doing fine, and in an X boat no less! - that's a very fine sail you have there - it looks like a thousand dollar sail - very nice - that shape is perfect. Are you hauled in that tight because the main was luffing?
