We are back in Florida

We are in tarpon springs Florida. We will go home Sat. from a boat ramp in Tampa Bay for thanksgiving week. We will then relaunch the boat to make our way to Vero Beach on the east coast to finish out the loop. We are still really enjoying this loop trip.

Congrats on an outstanding adventure. You guys have done great and a real inspiration to so many of us!!
How was the gulf crossing? Are you going to take the ICW across the state or go down and cross Florida Bay?
Dottie and I hope to be at the boatyard mid-Dec. You will probably be south of there by then, but if not let us know and we will meet you someplace,

We crossed from dog island Fl to Steinhatchee Fl. It was a 9 hour crossing of the northern gulf and the largest waves were one foot or less. The next day we went 11 hrs south to Crystal River Fl. We cruse at 7.5 mph. Stayed there 2 days then went 10 hours south to Tarpon Springs. We will take the boat home for at least a week this Friday. A friend will bring the truck and trailer to Simmons boat ramp on Tampa Bay. We will return here in a week or two to restart the loop. We will cross Florida at Okeechobee. Sumner call us when you arrive at the boat yard.
