I have a 2009 26m with an envirude 50hp motor. I need to replace the prop, but cant find the size, pitch etc. I read somewhere that a 4 blade prop is better for pulling towables. Any suggestions for size and pitch for 3 and 4 blade?
On a side note: im looking for a 3 person towable with low drag. Any ideas?
Thank you.

I carry two props for my M with 50 etec. Stock prop 13.75 x 13 and 14 x 11. There is essentially no difference in performance at hull speed. The only noticeable difference is at WOT. The 13.75 with full ballast, 12gal gas, 2batteries, 2 anchors, 2 adults, lightly loaded cabin turns 5600rpm @WOT. The 14 x 11 same load 6000rpm @WOT. There is essentially 1-1.5 mph difference in speed a WOT. You risk overheating the Etec 50 at WOT with the 13.75 ( did that). No damage just a high temp warning. The 14 x11 will hit the recommended WOT of 6000 rpm which is rated in the manual. If you have no need for top end then stick with the OEM 13.75 x 13 stock prop.
Some have reported better low speed handling the the 14 x11 and 4 blades. If I recall the 4 blades suffer on the top end.
Hope this helps.
