Howdy all!
The all thread valve midship under the step seems to be ready for replacement, I’m looking for info about this assembly, I don’t see any thread with this so far, please help ! I found it was broke when showing it to a buyer, moderately embarrassed about it.

Hello,
When installing the valve make sure to bend the rod so that the plate and seal are parallel to the hull. It will seal better with less tension.
good luck

Oh ok! Thanks for the heads up!! I have to do this afloat (difficultious- maximus).
Any idea what angle ? A ballpark figure ?

I never realized there ever was a second valve until your post. My

is year 2000. I had to do a double take after I saw the Pic from BWY. I felt better when I read it and saw it had been discontinued in later models.

Interesting, I’m going to bond this to a zinc and keel strap.I’m sure galvanic current plus partially sealed stainless broke the bolt from the weld on the plate. The keel strap broke several years ago.its probably ready to be changed again.

Can't help with the angle. I assume all hulls and steps are slightly different. It's easy to see the mating surfaces when it's on the trailer.
