Rudder

I just bought a Venture 25, the previous owner broke the rudder . He got a 2x12 6' long and bolted it up and used it for a rudder. I have been looking online . I would like to make a new one . Anyone have drawings or measurements. Or better yet a used one to sell me. Any help will be great.

Where are you located? I have a spare for my M25 that is broken but repairable with a little glass and epoxy.

I'm sorry , I didn't include my location. I live on a small lake near Fergus Falls, MN. If we can work something out I'd sure be pleased.

If you posted a picture of your broken rudder I might have an idea how to fix it. Mine snapped in half and I fixed it.

One place to look is on ruddercraft.com for an Ida Rudder. These are hpde oversized rudders. I have one on my 26S. I highly recommend it. They are a little costly, running just under $500.

I don't think it is. You'd have to modify it.

Update: I have a used rudder being shipped to me from Texas. It is the correct flip-up rudder for my boat. Thanks for the help everyone.
