I installed an AIS system about two years ago. Really have not been in any waters where it is needed. If all goes well, we will be taking the ICW from Philly to Annapolis (maybe farther south) this June. It will be needed then :)

Hi Ray
I was lookin for a while but was too busy finishing off other mods , glad I did now as the new AIS B + is equal too the AIS A commercial units :) , but of coarse more money !
I,ll post some pic,s of the silent mode switch on the pedestal beside the radar radome off/on switch & the finished install cleaned up lol

PS FYI the AIS B units r still avail for a cheaper price with USB , but if u really don,t require or can get by without WIFI & Bluetooth for ur AIS B , then u can buy a AIS B+/USB for the same price as a AIS B with wifi & bluetooth function :wink: or cheaper like I did :P
