Planning to put up the Jib

Hey, so we are getting to the point where we want to put up the jib on the furler. I took some pics of HOA our furler looks. I’m concerned that there isn’t a halyard to pull the jin up into the furler. There is on a clip at the top.

Also, I have this very good looking Genoa with hanks but no separate forestay to put it on. Was thinking of running a forestay line for it, but I’d likely need to take their furler down. What do you think?

If indeed there is no halyard, you can slide the jib on by hand before raising the mast. The jib is not heavy enough to make it too difficult to fasten the furler to the bow with the sail on.

what brand is it? The FF2 has an internal halyard that runs up the plastic extrusion, through a sheave, and back down to the head.
