Finally Happened

Post by krum »

I was enjoying my early fall sail, when a very strong gust hit the macx. So rrrrrip there goes the leach on my 20 year old 150 genoa. I figure not worth trying to sew it or have it cut down to a 110 genoa. So any one have a favorite brand of sail? Or a newer 110 or 150 genoa for a roller furling set up for sale. Are there any sail lofts who have already made up sails for a mac x? I would like to get a few more sails in before the lake ices over.

I got new jib, main and Spinnaker for my M this year from bwyachts.com. Looks like they are using Rolly Tasker sails these days. I have been pretty happy with mine, but I don't have a 150 Genoa. The bwy site does show 150 Genoas for the Mac X, and does mention having specific ones 'ready to ship':
