Yeah, a knife would do the trick if you could get to it and use it without dropping it.

The spinnaker would have been great if the wind hadn't picked up while we were getting it rigged. When we were ready, it was getting a tad sporty.

But, yes. I am completely nuts. :)

Ah I see starting with #1 Fleet Admiral ( 5 Stars) (MIL) , #2 Admiral ( 4 Stars) (Wife), #3 Vice Admiral (3 Stars) ( #1 Daughter), #4 Rear Admiral (2 Stars) ( #2 Daughter) , #5 Rear Admiral (lower Half) ( 1 Star ) ( #3 Daughter ) , Seeing u r unlikely to b able to b trusted to do anything right as far as the Captains Dutie,s r concerned they have all but certain seeing over these Dutie,s by them selfs leaving u with the (Rank of Commodore) witch now is an honorary title. so I hear now appoint U , Chief Cook / Dish Washer & Sanitory Engineer, U,ll also b in charge of all logistics :D , just so as u know I have all the same titles & rank u do when my daughters come on board ! :D :D :D . But when I sail solo which I do most of the time I rule the Roost :P or should I say Ship :)
DiD U get one of these to wear so as they know where u r at all times the three little bells do sound so cute :?

You own a sailboat. You’re making it difficult on yourself to get there :D

So one day on my first boat, I was sailing with a friend that’s back when I had such things. We were running wing on wing nicely and said friend for some reason gets up on the cabin top and I was just about to say something when the boom sweeps him clear off the deck, but he managed to hang onto to boom amazingly and was dangling in the water. In seconds the next gybe slams him into the side of the boat where he manages to climb back up. No one said a word.

If he had one, he wouldn’t have! We were lucky it was a mild day with winds just a bit too strong to actually just stop the boom and hold it. Preventers are always recommended.

That thing doesn't appear to be designed to sail very well. Does he ever indicate what speed he's able to make under sail? The thing moves more like a buoy than a boat. I really wish him luck.

Where does he attach the harness?

Its not the length of the boat its the motion of the ocean that propels it....

Hull Speed Formula
Theoretical displacement hull speed is calculated by the formula: velocity in knots = 1.35 x the square root of the waterline length in feet.
Where do I plug in the value for ocean motion? :D

Way to bring it back on topic. 8)
The key to inner peace is to admit you have a problem and leave it at that.
