The cheapest mod was done by my dealer, BWY. They cut the dinette table in half and put a piano hinge on it so it folds in half.

I love having plenty of these velcro straps around. I picked them up at Walmart near the outdoor extension cords I think. I use them to bundle lines to the rails, secure the bimini when its folded up.... They are great

This rotating phone holder made to clamp onto boat rails has been a nice addition. Simple, holds the phone tightly, and allows it to rotate vertically or horizontally.

OK one more. A couple of years ago when I got a new jib sail, I got a new jib 'sock' as well. The old cover for the old jib sat unused for a while until I realized I could turn it into a protective sun/towing cover for the bimini when the bimini is folded down:



Works pretty well. I had to cut it, obviously, since it was much longer, and I usually cinch the ends with velcro strap on each side. It doesn't have holes for the legs, so the legs have to be folded in when it's in use. But pretty good use for something older that would have otherwise been thrown away.

I love this idea.

I have a jib sock from the old jib before I had it altered with the sun protection built in. I probably still have the sock someplace.
Wish I saw this idea before I spent the money on the bimini cover. Oh well, gotta support our folks at BWY.

This string of USB-powered waterproof lights hung with clothes-pegs around the cockpit give a fantastic ambiance, low power draw, and are great for playing late-night card games. They really make the cockpit into another "room" to enjoy at night.

Shoe shelf attached to the bottom of the dinette table.

Cost: scrap wood and some screws.







Also using a grill mount to support the shelf for the microwave, about $35. I was inspired to do this by a post from a few years ago from Highlander.

Got a new one for the list today. I have a small waste basket in the head near the toilet. It's usually the first thing to go when the heeling starts. Fixed that today with a couple of screws - screwing it down to the raised fiberglass floor shelf that the toilet sits on. Just need to always remember to have a garbage bag in it, because it would be a pain to pull out a bunch of trash by hand if I forget since now it is screwed down

I bought a pocket shoe organizer at Ikea (kind of like this one https://a.co/d/86fvH7O) and hung it on the outside of the head door. We have all kinds of stuff stored in it. Be careful not to store too much because you will overload the 20-year-old hinges on the door. Ask how I know!



Changing the screws that hold the mirror on the head door to hooks also provided an extra place to hang stuff on the inside.
