Probably just AI-generated, Ray. It’s rampant… for example, I’m seeing tons of AI-generated car “photos” on FB pages, where it’s very clear to anyone who knows cars that the photos are just wrong…. Too many details are blatantly incorrect.
All the more reasons I’m not on Facebook.kmclemore wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2024 9:00 amProbably just AI-generated, Ray. Of course, the truly disturbing thing about AI is that eventually it will get a lot better, such that these obvious errors will be a lot harder to detect… and then it’s gonna be a brand new day.
It's already a lot better. I won't link to them for obvious reasons but content-creators are flooding social media with "cheesecake" pinup videos of girls that indistinguishable from reality in both appearance and movement. The clues are extremely subtle: eyes don't blink at quite the same instant, mouths are slightly blurry when they talk - and yes, AI still has trouble counting fingers.kmclemore wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2024 9:00 am Probably just AI-generated, Ray.
