Meet the boat's designer...
He put a little of himself in the design...

Shows a single and a double axle trailer. Wonder what these things weigh? Got to be lighter than the Mac.
Is that a little kicker on the back? I really like the tiller, they're much easier to maneuver with.
Also wonder how the centerboard works.
Edit: Most of this is answered in Me Mine's link just above. I like the reference to mass produced white barrels. I always thought of the Mac as a 'bottle'. If the thing sells cheap enough, they may set up a factory in CA.

Sailing is only one of the many things that a Mac 26M can do. What about the cabin and motor. Well, It just not the same apple.
So they claim

Nice boat. But at around $80,000 not such a good deal. The interior looks very well done though.

Hmmmm - check out those rudders!
They don't swing (like a 26X centerboard),
they slide up & down like a daggerboard!

It looks like the rudders do indeed slide up and down, but maybe there is a break away or pop-off latch at the bottom aft part of the bracket. Looks like a little black spot there in the photo.
