I was about to take off the interior cushion covers and put them in the wash under delicate cycle. My wife says no. Has anyone had experience cleaning these covers.

Hello:
Same here, We went through the now infamous "cat caper" which dictated multiple launderings with soap and bleach. The covers look fine at 9 years old.

The year before last we had mildew problems. We took the covers off, hand scrubbed with bleach to get the mildew out then washed them in the washing machine with no problems. I think we used the cold cycle. You might want to dry them on low. While we had them off we replaced all the seat cushion and berth foam with new 3" that is denser and extra firm. It is so much better for sitting and sleeping, one of the best upgrades we've done. I just used the old foam as a pattern and then put the new foam back in the old covers. Works great. Other than my wife wanting like different colors, it's like having new cushions.

Mark, One word of caution, I washed the interior cushions on my 2002 when I got it (used) the previous owner smoked cigars. I washed them in the washing machine and when I took them out to dry (air dry incidently) I found the velcro tape on the cushion bottoms had grabbed the top fabric in a few areas and the areas were fuzzy. I was reluctant to turn the cushions inside out prior to washing as the cut edges are not sealed and I was afraid of the edges raveling. Be sure and cover that velcro tape with something before you wash!

Tonight I'm going to the laundry to use one of the big front loading machines on delicate cycle. I'll sow something lightly over the velcro and let them air dry. I'll keep that new 3" foam idea in mind.
Thanks all!
