For those who have the BWY steering linkage, do you grease the hitch ball attachments? Also, do you leave a little slack in the thread screws for the rod to rotate when the engine is being tilted up & down or do you crank the nuts all the way down and let the hitch attachments do all the work. My angles of tilt are somewhat extreme, so I left a bit of slack so the rod can rotate on its thread. I noticed that my steering is also a bit tighter while motoring with this system compared to the stock linkage. No big deal but Im wondering why. Thoughts? Aya, are you out there?

Yup! exactly what I did Leon, as well as cutting and rethreading the rod. This year I cut up a stainless hinge and mounted it so it rotates instead of the thread. I'll see how this works for a while?
